We develop nonlinear dynamical systems methods to solve complex problems in applied science and engineering.

These problems are inherently high-dimensional, strongly nonlinear, time-dependent, and multi-scale. They are also typically defined through spatially and temporally limited data sets, not equations.

Ph.D. poSITIONS IN NONLINEAR DYNAMICAL  SYSTEMS

Several fully funded Ph.D. positions are available in Nonlinear Dynamics  at ETH Zürich  (read  more ...)

Our work combines ideas from applied mathematics, nonlinear dynamics, continuum mechanics and fluid mechanics.
